ePluribusMedia Presents Timelines of Major Events
The ePluribus Media Timelines provide dynamic, searchable databases of fact-checked and sourced incidents for major events. Click any of the timelines in the left menu (Katrina, Rita, or PTSD) to display multiple pages of incidents detailing the chronology of the event. Once you have accessed a specific timeline, you can read through incident summaries, link to their sources, or search the database to display just certain incidents.
Searching a Timelines Database
To search for specific incidents, once you've accessed the desired Timeline, click the Search Link at the bottom right to access search criteria.
For example, on the 'Katrina' Timeline say you wanted to find all records prior to August 29, 2005. You would click Search and when the search criteria fields display, type 2005-08-29 in the Date field and then choose the less than sign (<).Now, when you click the "search for record" button, only those incidents that occurred before August 29, 2005 display. You can search on any combination of criteria.
